The Directorate for European Integration of the BiH Council of Ministers and the German Organization for International Cooperation (GIZ) will hand out in Sarajevo tomorrow certificates to clerks who attended the seminar on the topic “harmonization of legislation within the first chapter of the acquis: free movement of goods-assessment of compliance, methodology, accreditation, standardization and new directives/global approach’’.

21 clerks will obtain the certificate, and Florian Burkhardt (Deutsche Botschaft Sarajevo), Aleksandra Hilbig (GIZ) and Maja RImac-Bjelobrk from the Direction for European Integration will address the participants.

The Seminar was carried out in six cycles.

The Institute for European Politics from Berlin implemented part of the project.

State officials from all administrative levels in BiH attended, and apart from the lectures, individual cycles were accompanied by presentations in case studies and experience of EU members, as well as organized practical workshops.

For a group of a maximum of 15 clerks that attended the seminars, in April a study visit to institutions of the federal government and governments of the states of German will be organized, and will center around the areas on which the seminars were focused.
