New production plant opened in Banja Luka

The City Administration of Banja Luka sold another parcel of land in the Business Zone “Ramici” to the local company “Elas metalekspert” for a total of 201,000 BAM. This export-oriented company with numerous years of experience in the metal sector in Ramici is planning to open a new production plant.

Koteks developed a new product line

The company Koteks Production from Tesanj developed a new line of products named “Tactical S” in cooperation with their partners from Germany, Slovenia, Poland and Croatia. They will produce uniforms for the army, police and special services.

“Products are certified in well-known and accredited laboratories in our partner companies,” said the director of the production, Hamza Hotic.

Exports increased by 12 %

Exports from BiH amounted to 5.8 billion BAM in the first half of the year, which is by 12 % more than in the same period of the year of 2017. At the same time, imports amounted to a total of 9.3 billion BAM, which is by 8.1 % more than in the same period last year. The export-import coverage amounted to 62.5 %, while the foreign trade deficit amounted to 3.5 billion BAM.

Great investments in Sanski Most

The owner of the company HIK GmbH from Germany, Berthold Brentrup, decided to move part of its production to BiH at the initiative of its workers from Hrustovi in Sanski Most. He founded the company “HIK – SM” Ltd, with headquarters in Prvomajska Street in Sanski Most, and they are planning to start with the production in January next year and to employ 100 people by 2020.

Company Eric M started with exports to China

The family company “Eric M” from Dazdarevo near Bijeljina, which is engaged in wood processing and production of parquet and pellet, besides already established markets, started with the export of their semi-finished wood products to China.
