Total Agricultural Production in FB&H in 2013 Increased by 24,9 %

agrarAccording to new statistics of the Federal Institute for Statistics, plant production in 2013 increased by 36,9 % and livestock production by 6,6 %. Fruit production is higher by 86,8 % and production of grapes increased by 27,1 %.

In farming, when the production of wheat is taken into consideration, it is greater by 28 %, fodder plants by 22,7 % and industrial plants production increased by 38,9 %.

In cattle breeding, the increase in cattle production was 2,7 %, in poultry 24,7 %, in sheep breeding 0,7 % and in beekeeping 4,7 %. However, when pigs are taken into consideration, the decrease of 2,9 % in production can be recorded.
