Tourists from 83 Countries Visited Sarajevo in January

tourists13,472 tourists visited Sarajevo in January 2015, which is five percent more than in January last year.

Tourists realized 29,333 overnight stays, which is by 11.1 percent more compared to the same period in 2014.

In January, there were 75.6 percent foreign tourists and 24.4 percent were domestic tourists.

Most tourists came from Croatia (36.2 percent), Turkey (8.8 percent), Slovenia (5.8 percent), Serbia (4.9 percent) and South Korea (4.7 percent).

Most overnight stays was realized by tourists from Croatia (33.4 percent), Turkey (8.0 percent), Serbia (6.6 percent), Slovenia (5.1 percent) and the U.S. (4.1 percent).

The average stay of tourists was 2.1 nights.

The longest stay was recorded by tourists from India (9.8 days), Estonia (8.3 days), Finland (7.4 days), Ireland (6.7 days), the United Arab Emirates (6.7 days) Saudi Arabia (4 , 4 days), Kuwait (3.7 days), Bahrain (3.5 days).

Tourists from 83 countries of the world visited Sarajevo in January 2015.
