With the participation of 134 young skiers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia the 9th Cup “Silver Fox” was held on Bjelasnica during the weekend.
The regional competition was held in four categories – cicibani (MCE and SCE), and children under 14 and 16 years.
A total of 16 races was held and the most success were young skiers from BiH and Serbia, who won eight awards.
In the youngest category of Cicban (MCE) the following won the first place: Isidora Jugovic (Jahorina) and Tarik Zuhric (SK Nas team), Ana Đokanović (Jahorina) and Aleksa Balović (Serbia), while in competition of Ciciban (SCE) the fastest has been Dasha Dobrodolac (Serbia) with two victories, as well as Aleksa Tomovic (Serbia) and Daut Hamidović (Ilidža).
In the category “Children 1” (U14) Peter Veljkovic and Veselin Zlatković celebrated with two wictories (Serbia), while in the competition “Children 2” (U16) Diana Dijaković (Fojnica) and Strahinja Đokanović (Jahorina) celebrated two victories as well.
Cup Silver Fox is a regional competition that has great significance for the development and promotion of alpine skiing in BiH and gives opportunities for young skiers to acquire competitive experience and contribute to their further ski development.
Successful organizer of the competition was the Ski Club Bjelasnica.
