After a two-year break caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the traditional Cimburijada will be held in Zenica again.
The program of this year’s open-air breakfast “Cimbura”, on behalf of the event organizers, was presented by the President of the Association Forum of Citizens of Zenica Faruk Kadric and a member of the Presidency of the Association Mirsad Mujkic.
In a conversation with the Mayor of Zenica Fuad Kasumovićc, the President of the Association Faruk Kadric expressed satisfaction that the conditions have been met for this centuries-old Zenica event to be held again and stressed that it will be an opportunity to mark 30 years of Zenica Citizens’ Forum.
“I was glad to receive the news that the Cimburijada will be organized this year. It is an event that has already become a recognizable brand of the city of Zenica. In addition, it is an event that brings together a large number of visitors from neighboring and other cities. Considering that the Association of the Forum of Citizens of Zenica, which is the organizer of the Chimburijada, will celebrate 30 years of work this year, the City of Zenica will support the Association and the organization of the event with 10,000 BAM,” said Mayor Fuad Kasumovic.
This year, the Cimburijada will be held on March 21, on Kamberovica field, in celebration of the first day of spring, the organizers said.
