edin-dilberovicFew days ago, BiH has received the Questionnaire from the European Commission. A total of 3,242 questions to be exact, which were handed to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdic by the Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn.

Director of the Directorate for European Integrations, Edin Dilberovic, said that the translation of the Questionnaire of the European Commission “to B/H/S language” has already started.

“What we are doing now is that we translate piece by piece of the Questionnaire on seminars that are organized with the relevant institutions, according to particular chapters. We are already sharing questions to relevant institutions in accordance with their constitutional responsibilities to prepare answers. Everything has to function in accordance with the coordination mechanism,” said Dilberovic.

He confirmed that all the bodies in the coordination mechanism are established, and that they held meetings of the Collegium and the Commission for European Integration.

“When the Commission for European Integrations adopts its Ordinance of procedure on work of working groups, they will be able to function. However, working groups do not have something special to do for now, until the first part is completed, until different institutions in BiH, in accordance with their constitutional powers, do not answer the questions that we received,” explained the director of the Directorate for European Integration.

The Questionnaire contains a detailed list of questions that follows the structure of the criteria for membership in the European Union, and the goal is to get a comprehensive insight into the political, legal, social, economic and administrative system of the country which has applied for membership through the answers.
