smetoviThis project is a continuation of good practice from previous years, when the citizens of Zenica expressed a great interest and replaced the city fog and smog for a daily visit to this place, where extraordinary weather conditions prevail.

“From the 4th to the 24th of January, on the working days, buses will transport the youngest to Smetovi and back. For all the others, the transportation will be provided with reduced ticket prices. Due to that, we hope, many citizens who want to spend their time on the fresh air – will be able to do it,” said Deputy Mayor for Social Affairs Zijad Softic.

The funds in the amount of 15.000 BAM were provided by the City of Zenica for the new activities, in cooperation with partners: Arcelormittal, the Zenica – Doboj Canton and the cooperation of the Tourist Board is also expected.

Two buses will be operating at the beginning, but the number of buses and their departure depend on the interest of the citizens of Zenica. They will be able to announce if they will be using these benefits on the plateau in front of the Arena, from where daily tours will be organized.
