[wzslider autoplay=”true”] During the promotion of the monograph “The tradition of Bosnia an Herzegovina – crafts” by journalist and publicist Mehmet Pargan, which was held on Thursday night in the Bosnian Cultural Center in Tuzla, the presentation and tasting of traditional Bosnian cuisine was organized as well.

It is the food that was prepared by the hardworking hands of women from the section “Zene za tradiciju (Women for tradition)”, which operates within the cultural – artistic society “Modracki mornari (Modracki sailors)” from the settlement Serici near Zivinice.

On the table were ružica (traditional sweet cake with sugar coating), hurmašica (traditional desert), cheese and sour cream, chicken with rice, stuffed peppers, burek (pie with meat), gurabije (traditional desert made with jam), pogača (homemade bread), pršulja (desert made with milk and rice), baked sugar, halva, tufahije (apple filled with sugar coating and walnuts) and many others…

Take a look at food in our photo gallery. Pans and plates were completely empty in the end. If you haven’t tried Bosnian Cuisine already, you do not know what you are missing!
