US President Donald Trump has been sworn in as the new president of the United States. He was sworn in before Supreme Court Justice John Roberts.
“America’s golden age is just beginning,” Trump said in his inaugural address at the Capitol in Washington.
He said that from this moment on, America will prosper and be respected around the world.
“We will not allow anyone to take advantage of us. Every day of my term, I will simply put America first,” Trump said.
Trump said that God saved his life in Pennsylvania for a reason, and that is to make America great again. During his inaugural address, he emphasized that in the past eight years he has passed tests that no president in US history has ever passed.
“The journey to restore our republic has not been easy,” Trump said.
Trump said that the new US government will recognize only two genders – male and female.
“The official policy of the US government will be that there are only two genders,” Trump said during his inaugural address.
He stressed that in the United States “there will be no color of skin.”
“This week, I will also end the government’s policy of pushing race and gender into all aspects of public and private life,” Trump said.
During his inaugural address, he said that he would reinstate his policy regarding migrants who want to enter the United States from Mexico.
“I will send the military to the southern border to repel the terrible invasion of our country,” Trump said.
In addition, he emphasized that the cartels will be declared foreign terrorist organizations.

“I, Donald John Trump, do solemnly promise that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States of America, and that I will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America,” Trump said during a brief address at the US Capitol.
Trump was preceded by JD Vance, who is now officially the Vice President of the United States.
This is Trump’s second term after serving as president from 2017 to 2021.
