The RS Minister of Transport and Communications Nedeljko Čubrilović spoke with representatives of one of the leading Turkish construction companies ‘’Dogus Construction Group’’, which is interested in infrastructure projects in this entity.
This company wishes to participate in the construction of transport infrastructure, above all on the construction of the highway Banjaluka-Prnjavor and the bridge on the Sava.
Čubrilović expressed his satisfaction with this company’s experience in the area of engineering, given that they were contractors on a number of projects for the construction of roads, highways, bridges, tunnels and metros in many countries.
He said that in the RS it is important to attract big foreign companies with plenty of experience and financial independence, but that ‘’it is a priority that in the process domestic resources should also be used’’.
Burak Talu, a member of the executive board of the company, said that ‘’the best demonstrated practices of these projects occurred when they engaged domestic resources and local businesses’’.
The Director of Highways RS Dušan Topić and representatives of the consulting firms Deloitte attended the meeting.
