Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković met today with Wendy Morton, Minister for European Neighborhood and America at the Foreign Affairs Office, Commonwealth and Development of the United Kingdom.

The two officials discussed the improvement of bilateral cooperation, the current political situation in BiH, the country’s integration into the EU and NATO, the rule of law and the fight against corruption, environmental protection, and other issues of mutual importance for the two countries, the BiH Foreign Ministry said.

They expressed readiness to strengthen relations in the field of trade and investments.

The interlocutors agreed on the need to finalize the activities on the signing of the Trade Agreement between BiH and the United Kingdom, given that the country is no longer a member of the European Union.

Minister Turković expressed gratitude to the UK for all the help and support that the country has provided to Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially when it comes to the reform and integration processes in our country.
