After Wizz Air increased the number of flights and established cooperation with another airline, Tuzla International Airport is no longer as empty as it used to be. Authorities are announcing possible changes next year, which will result in additional routes.
Three airlines currently operate at Tuzla International Airport, and the flights are to European destinations and Turkey.

“We currently have regular routes to Memmingen, Basel and Dortmund with Wizz Air, and we also have flights to Istanbul. At the moment, Pegasus flies every Saturday, while from December 18 they are introducing an additional flight on Wednesdays. And we have AJet, which flies to Istanbul every Monday”.
During this period, due to the upcoming holidays, New Year, Christmas, the number of passengers at Tuzla Airport has also increased.
Next year, the aircraft should be serviced, which will enable the recovery of air traffic on a global level, and authorities believe that Wizz Air could also resume flights that it previously had.

When it comes to infrastructure projects, the atrium and parking lot have been completed, and the third gate will soon be opened, which will reduce travel procedures and congestion. One and a half million marks will be allocated from the cantonal budget for the traffic light project, BHRT writes.
