Tuzla Brain Week Opened

Tuzla_Brain_WeekAt the Meidcal University in Tuzla, a ceremony of the opening of the Tuzla Brain Week, about the subject of “Creativity and brain”, was held. This project was made as a part of the framework of the Section for neuroscience, which works for the Association of Students “Medicus”.

The aim of the opening of the Tuzla Brain Week is to raise the level of knowledge about brain functions through simple processes of dances, games and lectures. In this way, the Section for neuroscience which works for the Association of students “Medicus” joined the global campaign that is implemented in 99 countries in the world.

According to the representative of the League for the fight against epilepsy of the Tuzla Canton Dr. Almasa Kapidžić, “The aim of the global campaign is to make an appeal to the public of how important it is to invest in research regarding brain function and pathologies. ”

She added that Brain Week is organized for the first time in B&H, all thanks to diligent Bosnian students. Also she makes an appeal to students and youth to join in the global campaigns, because it contributes to the development of new knowledge and achievements.

Tuzla Brain week will last until 16th of March 2014.
