The General Director of Elektroprivreda BiH Elvedin Grabovica said that the project partner for the construction of Blok 7 Termoelektrane Tuzla could be recognized in June of this year. He said that Blok 7 Termoelektrane Tuzla is in the stage of collecting official offers from qualified bidders and they are currently working on a mutual exchange of information.

‘’The second stage of the process is expected in April, when we will have a short list of the most serious offers. Either in May or June, given that there are no complaints, we might know who will be the project partner for the construction of Blok 7’’, said Grabovica.

As it is known, this is one of the largest investments in the next period and is worth 1.5 billion KM.

Blok 7 is an alternative manufacturing capacity located at the existing TE ‘’Tuzla’’, with a projected installed capacity of 450 MW and possible annual production of 2.756 GWh electrical energy.

The beginning of the construction of Blok 7 is planned for 2014, and the beginning of production in 2019.
