aluminij_mostarWith its partners, Aluminij d.d. Mostar will organize two gatherings at the beginning of 2014, aiming to present the conditions of the aluminum industry to the relevant authorities and public.

According to Aluminum, the first gathering will be of producers and processors of aluminum, and the second of major producers and consumers of electricity.

Europe has lost more than one third of aluminum production during the global economic crisis (2007-2012). The EU realized that it must intervene, so during the second half of 2013 it adopted a series of documents related to the aluminum industry, and some will be adopted during the first half of 2014.

The announced meetings of Aluminija d.d. Mostar aim to familiarize the public with the efforts of the European Aluminum Association to stop the deterioration of the Aluminum industry.
