Yesterday, in the afternoon hours, under high security measures, police officers of the Republika Srpska Ministry of Interior handed over to a prosecutor of the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption two suspects, suspected of being members of Kavacki Clan, who were deprived of their freedom yesterday, within a police operation in Banja Luka.

Also, the suspected Montenegrin citizen, who was deprived of his freedom within the police operation, will be handed over to the Court of BiH, in accordance with the extradition procedure.

The prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH will interrogate the suspects within an organised crime case in which, in cooperation with partner institutions in the region, the investigation is being conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

The suspects will be interrogated within a legal deadline, after which the prosecutor will make a decision on further activities in the case.
