U.S. dollar ticks down

NEW YORK, May 22 (Xinhua) — The U.S. dollar decreased in late trading on Tuesday.
The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, decreased 0.08 percent to 93.599 at 3:00 p.m. (2000 GMT).
