EUFOR’s annual exercise to test the readiness of its quick-reaction forces receives 100 soldiers of the UK’s élite Parachute Regiment.
After spending 2 weeks in isolation in the UK, the main body of A Company 3Para join up with their vehicles and equipment already delivered to EUFOR HQ at Camp Butmir. All passport documentation and COVID test certificates was examined by Customs Officials and Military Police before the troops headed off for another medical screening at Camp Butmir.
In support of Operation Althea, the soldiers will be working alongside and integrated with EUFOR’s Multi National Battalion for the duration of Exercise Quick Response 2020.
