The UN Security Council extended the mandate of EUFOR in B&H for one more year.
EUFOR, made up of 600 people, has the task to monitor the implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement from 1995, according to RIA ‘Novosti’.
EUFOR cooperates with NATO headquarters in Sarajevo, in accordance with the agreement reached between the Alliance and the EU. EUFOR took over the peace mission from the NATO Stabilization Force in B&H on 2 December 2004.
