United Arab Emirates Provided Assistance for B&H Population Affected by Floods

UJEDINJENI ARAPSKI EMIRATI OSIGURALI POMOÆ STANOVNIŠTVU BiH POGOÐENOM POPLAVAMAUnited Arab Emirates, through Khalif Foundation provided assistance for B&H population affected by recent floods.

Assistance consists of cleaning tools for the flooded areas such as water pumps, generators, marches, two trucks, food and hygienic supplies.

B&H Deputy Minister of Security Mladen Ćavar pointed out for the press the importance and the value of today’s donation and emphasized that the donation will be distributed based on the needs in the flooded areas of B&H.

The donation was delivered to the warehouse of the Federal Administration of Civil Protection and the Director of Administration Fahrudin Solak told to reporters that 45 % of the total amount will be allocated for entities and 10 percent for Brčko District.

“We will divide the assistance for entities and District Brčko here and then in accordance with the lists that we have on the affected areas, we will distribute the assistance”, he said.

According to the authorities, the situation is currently under control.
