Agić: Water Levels of River Bosna and Sana Slightly Increased

rijeka BosnaAccording to the information of the last 24 hours from the automatic hydro-meteorological system of the agency for water area of river Sava, as a result of last rainfalls, there was a slight rise in water levels, said in a statement for agency Fena, Enes Alagić from the Agency for water area Sava.

“There is no change in levels of the river Sava in the area of FB&H, but the level of river Bosna in Maglaj increased 18 centimeters. Water level of river Sana in Sanski Most increased 21 centimeters”, said Alagić.

However, in the coming period are not expected large rainfall and according to the information from the Federal Hydro-meteorological Institute, the synoptic situation should stabilize by the end of the week. Nicer weather is expected after 20 June.

“Based on this forecast, there will not be a significant increase in water levels and rainfalls are within the normal limits”, said Alagić.
