The USAID, through the Energy Policy Activity Project in BiH (USAID EPA) donated the computer equipment and software to the entity and state ministries and energy regulatory commissions. This donation will greatly improve and simplify the communication between the ministries, and this activity is just one in a series of activities implemented by the USAID Mission in BiH in the past few years with the aim of strengthening the energy sector.

“With the emergence of the epidemiological emergency caused by the COVID-19 virus and the introduction of the restrictive measures of movement, many institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina were not prepared for remote work. We hope that, with this donation, we will assist the ministries in charge of energy and regulatory commissions to perform their important work without difficulty and we are happy that with our help we contribute to the faster and better work processes”, stated USAID Energy Policy Activity (USAID EPA) Chief of Party, Mak Kamenica.

To date, the U.S. Government, primarily through USAID, has provided almost $1.7 billion in assistance to support economic, democratic and social progress in BiH.
