The Association of Female Members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ARBiH) informed the public that Vahida Beslagic has passed away, a member of the Seventh Corps of the ARBiH 17th Knight’s Krajina Brigade, who was wounded several times during the war.
“Vahida Beslagic has passed away – a brave daughter of BiH, an unshakable heroine of resistance, and a proud member of the ARBiH. In the hardest days of our homeland, she stood on the front line of defense, shoulder to shoulder with her comrades, without fear and without calculations, guided only by love for her country and her people,” it was announced.
Her courage, selflessness, and unshakable faith in truth and justice remain engraved in the memory of all who knew her.
“Vahida was more than a fighter – she was a symbol of dignity, strength, and the indomitability of women in war, and in peace, she continued to live with the same passion and integrity. May Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, grant her the most beautiful place in Jannah, and her family patience and strength to endure this deep pain. Her name and deeds will forever live in the memory of those who know how to value freedom. May mercy be upon your soul, heroine.”
