Yemen’s Houthis have launched a ballistic missile at Israel, setting off sirens in several cities.

The IDF said the missile was shot down outside Israeli airspace.

Alerts were issued in the cities of al-Lid, Ramleh, Rehovot and Beit Shemesh.

The Israeli military said details of the attack were still under investigation, and later released a preliminary report saying the missile had been intercepted, while local media reported that shrapnel from the interception fell inside Israeli territory.

Army Radio reported that four Israeli citizens were injured as they fled to bomb shelters early Sunday.
