Valdex from UAE Launches Air Traffic From Banja Luka Airport

Banja_Luka_airport_terminal_buildingThe RS government accepted yesterday the information in the letter of intent of the company “Valdex” from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to launch flights from Banja Luka airport.

The RS government gave a task to the Ministry of Transport and Communications to continue activities, together with the RS Airport in Banja Luka, in order to improve and start air traffic at the Banja Luka airport.

The RS government canceled earlier one airline company “Sky Srpska”, and the only line from Banja Luka airport is for Zurich and is held by BH airlines.

At the session, the information on the initiative of the Ministry for Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BIH for the signing of an agreement on understanding between the BiH Council of Ministers and the Croatian government on cooperation in the area of the protection of the environment and sustainable development was accepted.

The Ministry for Physical Planning, Civil Engineering and Ecology is obligated to continue activities for the signing of an agreement on understanding between the BiH Council of Ministers and the Croatian government on cooperation in the area of environmental protection and sustainable development through the relevant authorities in BiH, having in mind the legal and constitutional jurisdiction of the RS and BIH, announced the entity government.

It was also decided to go into a new issue of bonds of the RS for settling obligations on the basis of verified accounts of old foreign currency savings.

The information on the identification of the main problems in the area of the protection and rescue against natural and other floods was accepted.

Ministries and other authorities of the RS that deal with protection and saving of lives were given the task to plan the budget needed for a more efficient protection of natural and other disasters. The task will be done in accordance with the Risk Assessment on Natural and Other Disasters in the RS.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water has the obligation to regularly report to the RS government on the realization of projects realted to the construction and rehabilitation of water protection of strategic infrastructure facilities on the River Sava and the Drina River.

The public company „Šume RS“ a.d. is obligated to take additional measures and activities for the protection of forests from fires and in the future to develop a comprehensive system of government monitoring of forest fire protection and fire management.

A decision was adopted on the allocation of non-perspective and other real estate locations that were used for the purposes of the defense system on the territory of the RS in the warehouse “Livade“ Foča.

With the entry into force of this decision, conditions will be created to transfer the right of ownership to Foča municipality, in order to meet the general needs of the local community.
