As of yesterday, the Federal Civil Protection Administration (FUCZ) is richer for valuable firefighting equipment donated by the organization “Firefighters for international emergency situations”, with the mediation of the Embassy of France.
The international organization “Firefighters for international emergency situations” from France yesterday handed over the valuable firefighting equipment to the FUCZ.
“This is a donation of firefighting equipment intended for extinguishing fires in closed spaces. The equipment will be distributed to the municipalities and cantons in the FB&H. We are satisfied since the equipment is of high-quality, and when it comes to amount, we got around 300 sets of different equipment,” said the Director of FUCZ Fahrudin Solak.
The Ambassador of France to B&H Claire Bodonyi also highlighted the satisfaction that she can hand over the valuable equipment which will be used for saving lives.
“I am very happy because of this donation, especially since a respiratory apparatus is also donated, which will help in case of heavy difficulties during breathing and air pollution. This is one part of cooperation and good will present between the two countries,” stated the Ambassador Bodonyi.
