ViK Sarajevo completed all Activities on the Withdrawal of Money from the EBRD

On the session of the Assembly of CS was discussed the information of the PUC Water Works and Sewage (ViK) for the period from March 17 to April 10, this year. In the report was noted that water supply is regular, and that repairs are regularly done as well.

The main projects for the measurement and control equipment have been completed, and their value was estimated at 270,000 EUR. Moreover,  the pipeline reconstruction was also done, and its value amounted to 1,500,000 EUR. Tender documentation is also ready, and the preparation of project documentation for the realization of the repair of pump stations in the amount of 4,345,000 EUR is taking place as well.

All activities required for the withdrawal of the first tranche from the EBRD will be realized by the end of the month.

From ViK was announced that the quantities of supplied water were increased, the costs of electricity were decreased, as well as their debts to suppliers. The collection of money was increased by more than half a million BAM (from January 1 to April 14, 2018) in comparison to the same period last year.

A total of 152 consumers who owe more than 209,000 BAM were excluded from the network in the period from November last year until April 10, this year. At the same time, 48 consumers were newly registered in the water supply system.
