Vispak Ltd. was founded on the 7th of April 1972 in Visoko as a part of Velepromet, one of the largest retail chains in the former Yugoslavia. The original plants were located in Ozrakovici, near the current office building of Vispak. It employed 50 workers back then, and in the new building, i.e. existing one, Vispak is since 1980. The same year Vispak was established, it started with the production of the Golden coffee pot (Zlatna dzezva), the most famous brand of the company.

“Last year was the most successful for Vispak since the establishment of the company. The company recorded a realization of almost 45 million BAM in 2015. By comparison, in the year of 2010 when, in December, AS GROUP acquired Vispak, it recorded total revenue of almost 18 million BAM. Since the AS GROUP took over Vispak, Vispak’s income was increased by 2, 5 times in 5 years of operation,” said Rusmir Hrvic, the former director of Vispak which took over leadership of the company and Chairman of the Board of AS GROUP due to the acquisition of Klas Ltd. Sarajevo.

Golden coffee pot (Zlatna dzezva) is sold in 28 countries, on the markets in the region, the countries of Central Europe, Scandinavia, the US, and the Middle East. It is important to emphasize that in the past 5 years, the number of outlets where Golden coffee pot was previously available has been dramatically increased, so that, for example, in Slovenia the number of outlets where Golden coffee pot is available already surpassed 1,000, as well as in the United States, Croatia, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, etc.

Vispak currently employs 180 workers, 40 with a university degree, and exports to 25 countries on 4 different continents. Vispak owns 3 certificates for food safety and quality management: ISO 9001: 2008, HACCP and HALAL. When they beat the Guinness World Record in 2004 together with the citizens of Mostar, when coffee from the biggest pot in the world was made and drunk, Vispak officially received a certificate of Guinness in 2005, as announced from Vispak.
