Volume of transported Goods in Air Traffic in BiH increased

13342279_1194679113916376_988663868_nLast year, the volume of transported goods in air traffic in BiH increased by 373.4 percent in comparison with the previous year.

According to Agency for Statistics of BiH, a total of 9.734 tons of load were transported last year, while 2.607 tons were transported in 2014.

Also, the number of transported passengers in 2015 increased in comparison with 2014, by 18.1. A total of 1.130.042 passengers passed through BiH airports last year.

The number of passengers at the Sarajevo International Airport last year amounted to 772.940, which is by 8.9 percent more than in 2014.

Tuzla Airport recorded 259.094 passengers, which is an increase by 71.2 percent, while the Mostar Airport had 75.244 passengers and an increase of 10.7 percent. Traffic at the Banja Luka Airport decreased by 17.5 percent and a total of 22.800 passengers were recorded.

In total, 17.119 airport operations were performed in 2015, which is a decrease by one percent in comparison with the previous year.

Amount of transported mail in 2015 recorded a decrease by 9.9 percent when compared to 2014.
