The Banja Luka Youth Communication Center will organize from 1-7 July in the Children’s Home “Rada Vranješević” a volunteer camp “Osmijeh 2013”, in which 30 volunteers from nine cities in BiH and Croatia will work with children without parents and contribute to their socialization.
The camp will be organized as part of the project “Cross-border networking of volunteers for local development’’, which is financed by the EU through IPA Cross-Broder Program Croatia-BiH 2007-2013, announced the Youth Communication Center.
The project is being carried out by the Youth Communication Center Banja Luka and The Agency for Local Democracy from Sisak in cooperation with the Association “Most” from Gradiška, the Center for Children, Youth and Family Laktaši, the Local Action Group “Valis Kolapis” from Ozalj and “Suncokret”, the Center for Community Development in Vrginmost
The goal of the project is to improve the availability of services in local communities in border regions by establishing four volunteer services, two in BiH (Gradiška and Laktaši) and two in Croatia (Ozalj and Vrginmost)
