Vrelo Bosne Visited by Nearly 100 000 Visitors

vrelo bosneThe area of the Nature Monument Vrelo Bosne” (Bosna River Spring) during the summer season was visited by  nearly 100 000 visitors.

It is visited by tourists from all over the world who come to Sarajevo, confirmed to FENA Mustafa Zvizdić, an associate for promotion and marketing of the public institution Protected Natural Areas of the Canton Sarajevo.

Vrelo Bosne is visited by tourists who came for the Sarajevo Film Festival, but there are no organized groups, said Zvizdić.

He stressed that Vrelo Bosne attracts domestic tourists but it is also visited by tourists not only from the region but from across Europe, New Zealand and Australia.

At the moment, there are many visitors from Arab countries, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain, said Zvizdić.

He added that tourists, apart from Vrelo Bosne also visit other protected natural areas in the Sarajevo Canton such as Bijambare, Skakavac.

From 1st  January until 17th August this year, Vrelo Bosne was visited by around 97 000 visitors.
