Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić met in Belgrade with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, with whom he discussed current geopolitical and regional issues, as well as strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

“It is always an honor and pleasure to host our Hungarian friends Viktor Orban and Peter Szijjarto in Belgrade. With Sinisa Mali, we discuss current geopolitical and regional issues, as well as strengthening cooperation between our two countries in order to find solutions to emerging challenges,” Vučić said on Instagram.

He added that the focus is on the implementation of infrastructure projects and energy security “bearing in mind the strategic importance of the two countries as key energy corridors in the region.”

“We continue to work and build on the foundations of ever stronger ties, which are, at the same time, an example of how stability and prosperity can be built through sincere friendship and strategic partnership,” Vučić said.
