Representative in the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska (NARS) Nebojsa Vukanovic commented on the decisions related to the non-application of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the RS, pointing out that Milorad Dodik carried out a kind of coup in the entity assembly.
“Given that the Constitutional Court of BiH is an integral part of the Dayton Peace Agreement signed in 1995 and that there is a law by which its decisions are implemented on the territory of the RS, this simply represents a kind of coup. These are very dangerous things,” Vukanovic stated in an interview.
When asked how this situation will end, Vukanovic stated that it will end the same as it did with the Day of the RS, when there was a famous referendum from which nothing came of it.
“Also when there was tension about returning to the original Dayton Peace Agreement and when there were various topics more radical than this one today, they never came into force, so this law will essentially never come into force. This is useful for him to divert attention from the real problems, because the salary of the educators has still not been paid, even though we have borrowed over 200 million BAM,” Vukanovic added.
Vukanovic criticized the Coalition of Three, but also the member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Becirovic, who gives ultimatums.
“He is doing the same thing as Dodik, stop talking, you created a government with him, you gave him all the key institutions, you gave him Tegeltija, State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), important ministries, you shared power with him, you saw some new energy in him, and now after a couple of months, the old Dodik has returned. What I was warning them about is happening,” he pointed out.
Speaking about the responsibility of the “Coalition of Three“, he said that it is absolute and unquestionable, stressing that they, as the opposition, humiliated them.
“The fact that for years we have been leading a policy of normalization, true changes, and then we see that parties from the Federation of BiH (FBiH) are only trying to compete. The more Dodik insults Bosniaks and those parties, the more power and authority they give him,” Vukanovic concluded, Klix.ba reports.
