At the entrance to East Sarajevo, a sign was placed with the inscription “Welcome to East Sarajevo, the city of 157,000 Serbs who had to leave Sarajevo”.

Namely, Sarajevo Mayor published a photo on her official Facebook profile with the description that the mayor of East Sarajevo, Ljubiša Ćosić, “went one step further” this time.

It is about the fact that at the entrance to East Sarajevo, a sign was placed with the inscription “Welcome to East Sarajevo, the city of 157,000 Serbs who had to leave Sarajevo”.

“Cosić, you are trying in vain, the times have come that even a lie repeated a thousand times will NEVER become the truth! Today I will file a criminal complaint against you to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for inciting national, racial and religious hatred, discord and intolerance”, is the message of Mayor Karić.

She also emphasized that the team of the City Administration of the City of Sarajevo is checking the location where the sign was placed, and that if they occupied “a millimeter of the territory of our city, they will be responsible for it.”
