Waterfalls on Trebizat River make Oasis of Peace and Beauty

TrebizatThe team “Flying Camera Team” recorded beautiful scenes of the natural beauty of Trebizat River from the air.

Recordings follow the river in the length of 50 kilometers, which rises and sinks several times, and creates two beautiful miracles of nature: waterfalls Kravice and Kocusa. Another gem that adorns this river is swimming place Ceveljusa.

These locations are making small oasis that are attractive to visitors who want to enjoy the natural beauty and find rest for their body and soul.

It is interesting that the largest confluent of Neretva River, due to its rises and sinks, has nine names: Culusa – Ricina – Brina – Suvaja (Posusje) – Matica – Vrlika (Imotski) – Tihaljina – Mlade – Trebizat (Ljubuski).

Trebizat begins from a strong karst spring, from the cave at the foot of the mountain Jagodnica, which is a continuation of the underground flow of Vrlika. It goes from Imotski field and continues from Posusje to the southeast and runs under the name Tihaljina to the village Klobuk. In Ljubusko field it becomes Mlade. After leaving the area of Ljubuski it becomes Trebizat. In the place Studenci, it creates the waterfall Kravice, with a height of 30 meters.

Trebizat has only four confluence: Studencic, Vriostica, Parilo and Brza voda. The main flow of Trebizat flows into Neretva River in the village Struge near Capljina. Trebizat has no rocky coast nor stones. Many herbs are growing on the riverbed. It is one of the rivers with the richest flora in BiH.
