13090001_1164997730217848_1111341385_nPrevent Group officially took over two companies from Bugojno – Deljkovoić Ltd. and Serena Ltd. Bugojno. With the signing of contracts with these two companies, the continuation of production activities and job for 200 workers are ensured. This investment is the entrance of the Prevent Group into the segment of footwear production and represents a continuation of activities on the development of a platform for consolidation of industries at the territory of the Central Bosnia Canton.

“With continuous investing in new projects, the Prevent Group wants to strengthen the economic development and competitiveness of BiH to a long run. By buying these two companies, we enter the industry of the production of footwear, and at the same time we continue working on developing business in the Central Bosnia Canton,” said Haris Rahman, member of Administration of the Prevent Group BH, during the signing of the agreement and added that after Prevent Travnik, where 450 workers are currently hired, Bugojno will be a location of strategic importance for expansion in fashion industry.

Companies Deljković Ltd. and Serena Ltd. have been operating for 10 years now, dealing with the production of footwear for famous buyers on the European market. Previous owners expressed satisfaction with the decision of the Prevent Group to take over the company with the existing infrastructure and employees and to continue the production for current and new buyers.

By constantly investing in BiH, the Prevent Group provides an example of good practice to national and foreign investors. The Prevent Group is present at 13 locations in BiH, and as of yesterday they are operating in two production units at the territory of the Central Bosnia Canton – Prevent Travnik and Prevent Footwear in Bugojno.
