Caucus of women parliamentarians of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of FB&H was established with the support of the International Republican Institute, said the chairperson Lidija Bradara to the delegates of this House during their yesterday’s session in Sarajevo.
Rules of the newly established body stipulate the work of women parliamentarians on the affirmation of social status and protection of the rights of women, children and family, as well as on affirmation of gender equality and other issues aimed at improving the status of women, contributing to gender equality, better status of women, children and family.
Yesterday’s session of the House of Peoples ended with the approval by the delegates that Dževad Nekić assumes the position of the Auditor General of the Audit Office for FB&H, and that Dragan Kolobarić is his deputy.
These appointments were approved without discussion.
In the same way, the delegates gave consent in the process of issuing energy permits to the economic society KONCIG Ltd. Posušje, Public Enterprise Elektroprivreda BiH JSC Sarajevo, economic society F.L. WIND Ltd. Tomislavgrad and economic society KAMEN-DENT Mostar Ltd. for the construction of wind power plants Debelo brdo, Podveležje, Jelovača and Kupres I.
Several reports on indebtedness of the FB&H on the basis of emission of treasury bills, referring to last year, have also been approved without discussion.
