What is Average Monthly Gross Earning per Person in Employment in Bosnia and Herzegovina?

In January 2020, the average monthly gross earning per person in employment in legal entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 1.460 BAM, which represented the nominal decrease of 0,7% as compared to December 2019.

In comparison to January 2019 the average monthly gross earnings for January 2020 was nominally by 3,7% higher, according to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Agency for Statistics.

In January 2020, the average monthly paid off net earning per person in employment in legal entities in BiH amounted to 945 BAM, which represented the nominal decrease of 0,7% as compared to December 2019.

In comparison to January 2019 the average monthly paid off net earnings for January 2020 was nominally by 3,5% higher.

The average monthly paid off net salary in Bosnia-Herzegovina in December last year was 951 BAM and was nominally higher by five percent compared to November of the same year, and increased by 2.5 percent compared to December 2018.

The lowest average net salary of 580 BAM was in the provision of accommodation and food preparation and service activities in the administrative and support service activities was 641 BAM, while the average net salary in the construction industry was 644 BAM, according to the country’s Agency for Statistics.

In financial and insurance industries, the average net salary in December last year amounted to 1,664 BAM, in the production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning 1,456 BAM, while the average net salary in the information and communication sector was 1,408 BAM.

In December 2019, the average monthly gross earning in Bosnia and Herzegovina was 1,470 BAM and was nominally higher by 5.2 percent compared to November and higher by 2.6 percent compared to December 2018.
