What is the Average Salary in Bosnia and Herzegovina?

The average monthly paid net salary in BiH in September amounted to 962 BAM and is nominally higher by 1.1 percent compared to December last year, and higher by five percent compared to September last year, the Agency for Statistics of BiH stated on Monday.

The lowest average net salary in September was in accommodation services, and food preparation and serving and amounted to 592 BAM, while in administrative and support service activities, and construction the average net salary was 662 BAM.

In the financial and insurance activities, the average net salary in the ninth month amounted to 1,633 BAM, in the production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning 1,470 BAM, and in the field of information and communication 1,375 BAM.

In BiH, the average monthly gross salary in September amounted to 1,485 BAM and is nominally higher by one percent compared to December last year, and higher by five percent compared to September last year
