What is the Number of Unemployed Persons in BiH?

Until June 30th, there were 405,476 persons on the records of employment services in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Compared to the previous month, the number of unemployed persons decreased by 1,209 or 0.3 percent. Of the total number of job seekers, 230,548 or 56.86 percent are women, according to the BiH Labor and Employment Agency.

Unemployment fell in the Federation of BiH by 164 people (0.05 percent), in the Republika Srpska by 907 people (1.01 percent) and in the Brcko District of BiH by 138 people (1.77 percent).

The highest number of registered unemployment is made up of persons with the third level of education, mainly workers 31.79 percent, and workers who finished middle school, 28.22 percent.

In June, a total of 17,313 people were deleted from employment service records. Out of this number, 11,093 persons are employed.

At the same time, 6,518 persons had terminated their employment.
