What were they doing before Politics: Radoncic, Kojovic, Kebo…

radoncicIt is always interesting to hear the stories about the lives of politicians in B&H before their appearance on the great, the greatest scene. Many of them, the most of them in fact, were not engaged in any public affairs. They were humble professors, economists, journalists, engineers, guards…

Fahrudin Radoncic, the President of the Alliance for a Better Future, started with journalism in 1978. Two years later, he became editor of the Youth Movement in Titograd, Montenegro. He started with politics in 1983. He was secretary of the Committee of the League of Communists of Montenegro. He was also a correspondent for weekly newspaper Danas from Zagreb. He launched “Dnevni Avaz” in the mid-90’s.

Predrag Kojovic was working as a journalist for Radio Sarajevo since 1988, and soon he tried at TV Sarajevo. He worked for the Sunday magazine, and he was a war correspondent of Yutel from Knin Krajina and Kosovo. During the war, he was reporter from Slovenia, Croatia and B&H for Reuters Agency. He was the first journalist in war 1994 who released photos of concentration camps Dretelj and Heliodrom in Mostar. He reported from Iraq, Sierra Leone and South Africa.

Mirsad Kebo from Mostar was director of RO Lipa Sarajevo before the war, and he proved himself as a director of KJKP “Rad” in Sarajevo. He professionally step into politics in 1999, while doing a number of important functions in the meantime.
