Where are the Foreigners who live in Bosnia and Herzegovina From?

Foreigners in B&H sarajevo.travelDuring 2014, the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs has approved a total of 11.022 temporary stays, of which the temporary stay was granted in 4.725 cases and extended in 6.297 cases.

Of the total number of temporary residence permits, the largest number has been approved to the citizens of Serbia, Turkey, China and Croatia, while the largest number of extended temporary residence permits has been extended to the citizens of Turkey, Serbia, Croatia and China.

A total of 1.305 permits for temporary residence were issued to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while 1.126 temporary residence permits were extended. Currently, 2.431 Serbian citizens temporarily reside in B&H.

Turkey is in the second place. During the last year, 693 temporary residence permits were issued to the citizens of Turkey, and 1.266 permits have been extended. The total number of residents of this country in B&H now is 1.959.

China is taking the third place in terms of the country from where the foreigners who currently live in B&H come. According to the data, 1.213 Chinese citizens currently reside in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Croatia is ranked fifth. Currently, 1.104 Croatian citizens live in Bosnia and Herzegovina. As for the citizens of Montenegro, 646 of them are currently living in BiH.

In addition to these six countries, citizens of Macedonia (608), Germany (362), Austria (368), USA (233), Italy (210), Russia (202), and Slovenia (173) temporarily reside in B&H.
