Which Country is currently the Biggest Investor in BiH?

In the first nine months of last year, foreign investors invested a total of 737.7 million euros in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), which is 23.9 percent more than in the same period in 2022.

The largest foreign investors in BiH were the Russians with 157 million euros of investment.

According to data from the Central Bank of BiH, direct foreign investments in BiH from January to September amounted to 1.443 billion BAM or 737.7 million euros.

In the same period last year, direct foreign investments amounted to 1.164 billion BAM or 587 million euros.

Russia invested 312 million BAM (157 million euros) in BiH in the first nine months of 2023.

The Netherlands and Croatia follow with 84 and 83 million euros of investment. The United Kingdom (UK), on the other hand, invested 82 million euros, and Turkey more than 60.

The top ten include Germany with 46, Austria with 40, and Serbia with 26 million euros of investment.
