Which four Countries in the World do not have Airports?

It’s hard to imagine that there are still countries that defy conventional modes of transportation. Even though we live in a modern era where air travel is so convenient, four countries in the world don’t have airports, despite being popular tourist destinations.

The airspace of these countries is free from the noise of airplanes and the air pollution from jets.

Andorra, a country nestled between France and Spain in the Pyrenees mountains, doesn’t have its own airport. The principality is known for its picturesque landscapes, making it a popular tourist destination. You can reach Andorra by driving through beautiful mountain ranges and charming villages.

Monaco is home to the world’s wealthiest people, but this small city-state on the French Riviera doesn’t have an airport. Despite its glamorous reputation, visitors often arrive by helicopter or yacht. The nearest airport is in Nice, France.

Liechtenstein, a principality nestled between Switzerland and Austria, is known for its medieval castles and Alpine scenery. With no airport within its borders, visitors usually arrive via neighboring countries, enjoying scenic train rides or a leisurely drive through the stunning Rhine Valley.

San Marino, a state perched atop a winding mountain range in northern Italy, is one of the oldest republics in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tourists visiting the country arrive using the airports in Bologna or Rimini, RTCG reports.
