13285741_1775360199367323_520080349_nIn a sign of remembrance, compassion and as a symbol of the ongoing struggle against fascism and discrimination on the basis of a different identity and denial of crimes, within the initiative “Because it concerns me”, Youth Movement “Revolt” will organize marking of the White Armband Day on the 31st of May in Tuzla.

This activity is primarily related to the town of Prijedor where non-Serbs had to be “marked” with white tape to be recognized easily and marked as targets in 1992. From then until today, the 31st of May is marked as the White Armband Day.

“Local cafes Urban Beatz, Bunt, Sloboda and Intermezzo also joined this symbolic activity. All interested will be able to get the white armbands in the aforementioned cafes and on the street action,” said Elmira Begic, President of the Youth Movement “Revolt” for Tuzlarije.ba.

With “frozenness” and “silence” of those present, last year’s flash mob sent a strong message of ongoing struggle against fascism and discrimination on the basis of different identity and denial of crimes. Take a look at the VIDEO.
