zenica ismail boy without handsAs Sarajevo Times portal wrote earlier, a young boy from Zenica, Ismail Zulfic, is a true hero and a “wingless butterfly”, who even though, has no hands, swims like a professional! With his energy, hard work and will, he delighted many people, and now he once again has sparked nation pride. At the swimming tournament in Zagreb, Ismail won a gold medal.

The Swimming club Spid, together with small Ismail, will forever remember the participation in the Ninth Regional Championship in Croatia in swimming for people with disabilities. They returned with six gold and two silver medals.

After the race finished, Ismail proudly said “I won!” And received a diploma with a smile. His proud coach Amel Kapo shared joy with the whole world through the Facebook profile.

“It is not because they are mine, but they are the best, Zagreb, six gold and two silver medals.” Bravo, bravo, bravo, “wrote the coach after the competition.

Ismail began to practice swimming more than a year ago at the Olympic Pool and drives from Zenica, 64 km from Sarajevo.
