Days in Sarajevo are getting colder and colder.

Maybe we can say that there was no colder winter for a long time, although the youngest are still waiting for snow.

Morning temperatures are below zero, and from the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute, in bioprognosis, recommended that it is necessary to take care about the protection from the low temperatures that will pose the biggest problem for chronically ill people. The chronically ill should not over do their activities, and it is necessary to pay attention to the protection from cold and, if possible, reduce staying outdoor.

And while photos of fog, smog and frozen citizens of Sarajevo are regularly “circling” in the media, the Historical Archive Sarajevo decided to take us on the tour down the memory lane through photos of our capital in the 1960’s and 1970’s.

This is how it used to be in Sarajevo. Take a look at the photos from Stari Grad.
