Wizz Air has canceled plans to resume operations between Salzburg and Tuzla. This line was launched last summer, but was interrupted after only one flight due to a temporary flight ban imposed by Austria and lifted in the meantime. As a result of this decision, all flights planned from Salzburg to the former Yugoslav markets have now been canceled. Earlier, they included Belgrade and Skopje.
Wizz Air, Europe’s largest low-budget airline, announced yesterday the opening of a new base in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
It will be located at the Sarajevo International Airport, where nine new routes will be established from May.
Sarajevo will have a direct connection with London Luton, Paris Beauvais, and Brussels Charleroi Airport.
Regular traffic will also be established towards Basel, Gothenburg, Eindhoven, Copenhagen, Dortmund, and Memmingen.
This is the second base that Wizz Air is opening in our country. The first one was established in 2013 in Tuzla.
