A Woman from Sarajevo makes Children’s Childhood better through her Business Idea “Little Talkers”

Lidija Sejdinovic decided not to wait for the job, but she searched for her chances and tried to learn even more. She enrolled in the Nahla’s Business Academy, which she successfully completed, and her business idea proved to be the best one and she won the first place and the prize.

“My business idea – which is aimed at the development of creativity, cultural preferences and love for literature in children, and creating the ambiance and content thanks to which children will learn through a game and get some new skills and knowledge while nurturing their natural curiosity – came together with my first stories for children. After my picture book “Share the Toys and feel the Happiness” was published, I started to read and interpret these stories in the kindergartens as part of interactive children’s workshops. I had the need to see and feel if children really like what I am writing, and I also wanted to make a contribution to building a positive cultural environment in my surroundings,” said Lidija.

Since the children liked the way in which she offers literature, she decided to further improve the concept of workshops by adding content that includes creative work as well, learning about interesting facts in the world around us, the puppet theater, dance, and creating an environment in which children are feeling free to express and discover their own talents.

A few months after she won the first prize, “Little Talkers” came to life, a place where workshops and gatherings are taking place every day in a pleasant, nice and child-friendly environment and they live by the slogan “Smile for every child”.

“Little Talkers” are approaching children according to their temperament, age, and tendencies. We create the ambiance in which children have the order and content, but they also have enough space left for freedom, play time and spontaneous, natural learning,” stated Lidija.

“The main purpose of my business idea is to make children’s childhood more beautiful and to help them grow up in the right direction,” said Lidija, who is planning to extend her idea in other places in Sarajevo as well, through projects that will include education and entertainment for children through professional workshops, consultations, festivals and the creation of publications for children, as well as the promotion of creative and innovative content for children in the territory of BiH.
